These pretty yellow wildflowers are all over my backyard. Jeff has not been able to mow our back lawn for a while (because of his surgery), so everything is really long. It made for a fun texture behind the flowers. I also made sure the fence was there for a darker backdrop. Both pictures were taken on a completely overcast day in aperture mode.
This was the first shot of the day and we were trying to get both the snowy mountain and the beautiful tulips.
Ethan and I had a glorious morning at the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point where we both did our April challenge of Spring. The day was totally overcast, we shot in aperture mode, and it was a very very fun photo shoot for me! Love you Ethan!!
The challenge was "love" and I thought these two were showing such fun brotherly-sisterly love that I just had to get the camera out! I love my grandkids!!
Thomas loves to have Daddy "fly" him around. I love the look on his face of pure joy.
Everyone wanted to play with Baby Richard. So, Jeff showed them how to fly their airplanes around him. He giggled and laughed when the planes "crashed" and otherwise loved watching them all fly around him. Family love!
